SusMaX is featured in the September issue of Concrete Products!
The article highlights SusMaX’s tonnage-scale pilot demonstration, recycling low-quality landfilled waste coal ash into high-performance lightweight aggregate, through its technology and proprietary manufacturing.

SusMaX successfully processed 30 tons of waste coal ash from three different partner utilities—each with vastly different chemical and physical properties—and continuously recycled them into high-performance lightweight aggregate (i.e., SPORA). In concrete applications specifically, SPORA lightweight aggregate meets and exceeds ASTM C330 requirements for structural lightweight concrete.

This was a huge achievement for SusMaX to demonstrate that its technology and manufacturing work at scale and are ready for commercial deployment.
